Just a few of the places I've never been...(in alphabetical order) These are only a tiny fraction of the places the Bay Area offers that might be fun to go in a wheelchair. They're on this list because I've heard about them, but haven't had time to check them out yet, and no one I know has provided wheelchair access information. Yet. Luckily, some information is available online, and the links provided should help any interested hiker decide which one to visit. If you go, please take notes about the access you find, and photos too if you can. Send them to me, asiecker@sbcglobal.net, or call me, 510-655-8863. Even if -- especially if -- a place turns out to have terrible access. At least you can save someone else the frustration of trying it.
