This
is a small attractive lake used by kayakers and small sailboats. There
is a swimming area which may be wheelchair accessible nearby, and a
pier out over the lake is also accessible. A paved trail goes around
the lake, and other paths offer over a half-mile of pleasant wandering.
It does have stretches that are steeper than 1/12 but is otherwise very
accessible and attractive although heavily used by joggers and bicyclists.
Details: Parking may be difficult on weekends. Wheelchair accessible
restrooms are at both entrances. Last visit Fall 2003
